First, "Money breeding money—a grotesque mitosis." What I’m saying here is, money doesn’t just sit there anymore. It multiplies itself—not by building anything real, but just through more money games: investments, speculation, loopholes. It’s like a twisted version of life splitting and growing (you know, mitosis), but instead of cells making life, it’s just money making more money… feeding itself in this bloated, unnatural way.
Then, "Homes became ghosts, flickering just beyond reach." This one’s about how basic things—like owning a home, having a stable place—used to be achievable. Normal. But now? They’re like mirages. Prices are insane, markets are rigged, and for most people, having a home is a dream they can almost see… but can never actually touch.
Next, "Corporations farmed want like wheat." This hits at how big companies don’t just sell products anymore. They grow need. They cultivate insecurity. They plant the idea in you that you’re missing something, and then they harvest that craving over and over, selling you stuff you didn’t even know you “needed” until they told you.
And finally, "Harvested desperation, sold it back as ‘dreams.’" This part is the real knife twist. The corporations take people’s fear, loneliness, and desire—twist it—and then sell it back to them as “hope,” “success,” or “freedom.” But it’s all packaged lies. They’re cashing in on the hunger they manufactured in the first place.
So yeah, the whole thing is me calling out this vicious loop—how money makes more money without helping real people, how dreams get commercialized, and how real human needs get hijacked and sold back to us with shiny price tags.
