Shipping Policy

At Tales of a Lost Species (TOLS), we create thoughtful, pre-designed garments that are printed just for you — one at a time. Each order is made-to-order through our trusted print-on-demand partners, TPOP and Printify. Below you’ll find details about how our shipping process works and what to expect when you place an order.

1. Production & Processing Time

All items are produced on demand. Once you place an order, we submit it to our print partners (TPOP or Printify) for fulfillment, which typically takes 2–4 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays). During busy periods or promotional events, production may take a little longer, but we’ll always keep you updated via email.

Please note: The shipping timeline below begins after production is complete.

2. Delivery Timeframes (EU only)

We currently ship exclusively to countries within the European Union. Once your order has been fulfilled, shipping typically takes:

  • Standard EU Shipping: 3–10 business days after production. (Rare delays may occur due to local postal services or seasonal peaks. We’ll share tracking details so you can follow every step.)

These delivery windows are estimates provided by our partners and shipping carriers. Actual delivery times may vary slightly based on your location or postal service.

3. Shipping Methods & Carriers

Your order will ship from the facility of our print partner — either TPOP or Printify — depending on where the item is fulfilled. To reduce emissions and shipping time, we aim to fulfill and dispatch your items from the location closest to you within the EU.

We use standard tracked shipping services whenever available. If your package ships with tracking, we will email you a tracking link as soon as it leaves the production facility.

If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please let us know right away so we can assist. (See our Return & Refund Policy for details on damaged goods.)

4. Tracking Your Package

As soon as your order ships, we’ll email you a tracking number and link. Simply click the link or enter the number on the carrier’s website to see where your package is and when it’s due to arrive.

5. Shipping Costs & Free Shipping Thresholds

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination and the items in your order.
  • Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all orders over €100.

This threshold ensures we can continue offering high-quality printing and service at great value.

6. Multiple Shipments

If you order multiple items, they may be fulfilled at different print facilities and shipped separately, but there’s no extra charge. In that case, you’ll receive individual tracking details for each package.

7. Customs & Import Fees

At this time, we only ship within the EU, so you will not be charged any customs duties or import taxes.

If we expand shipping outside the EU in the future, this section will be updated with relevant information.

8. Delivery Issues & Refused Shipments

Once your package has shipped, we rely on our carriers to complete delivery. Please keep an eye on your tracking link for updates.

If your order hasn’t arrived within 15 business days after shipping, feel free to contact us. We’ll be happy to look into it and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you may:

  • Reship the package (additional postage may apply), or
  • Receive a refund minus the original shipping costs once the item is returned.

Refused Shipments: If you refuse delivery, the package will be returned to us. We will refund your order value minus original shipping fees and any return postage costs.
