Holy Fire Unisex T‑Shirt
Holy Fire Unisex T‑Shirt
Some wounds are self-inflicted—then worshipped.
This design exposes the split between what we claim to seek and what we keep choosing instead.
“They prayed to peace with bloodied hands. Built temples, then bombs. A schism in the soul—craving light, yet addicted to striking matches in the dark.”
Behind the Quote
Behind the Quote
First up, "They prayed to peace with bloodied hands." What I’m saying here is, people say they want peace, they talk about peace, they even pray for it… but meanwhile, they’re still causing harm. Still hurting each other. Their hands are literally or metaphorically stained—from war, from cruelty, from injustice—and yet they’re standing there asking for peace like there’s no contradiction. It’s this deep, tragic hypocrisy.
Then, "Built temples, then bombs." This part’s showing the whiplash between ideals and actions. People build beautiful temples—places meant for worship, reflection, unity—and then turn right around and create weapons of destruction. It’s like they want to honor something higher, but can’t stop themselves from preparing for violence. It’s crazy and heartbreaking at the same time.
Next, "A schism in the soul—craving light, yet addicted to striking matches in the dark." This is where it really hits. The “schism” means a deep split inside us. Part of humanity truly wants goodness—love, peace, light—but another part? It’s addicted to chaos, to destruction, to pain. Even when we reach for the light, we keep lighting matches in the dark—little sparks of destruction that eventually burn things down. It’s a cycle we seem stuck in, almost like we’re scared of the peace we claim to want.
So yeah, the whole thing is basically me pointing out how messy and self‑contradictory human nature can be—wanting healing and hurting at the same time. It’s not about judging it harshly—it’s about seeing it clearly, and maybe realizing: if we don’t fix that split inside, we’ll keep praying for peace while setting fire to everything around us.
